Scheduling and Calendar Management For Wedding Professionals

There are many different tasks that wedding professionals must accomplish during a week and organizing them will help to ensure nothing gets forgotten. If tasks aren’t completed for clients that can easily lead to a loss of business. In order to stay on top of tasks we’ve compiled a list of how to organize them.

Utilize digital calendars. If you use digital calendars you can link the calendar to several devices so you can access the information when you need it. There are also ways that you can color code your different tasks by category or client.

You can also add notifications of your tasks so you will be reminded of important meetings and deadlines. These reminders can also be linked to your different devices.

Allow yourself time to take care of the administrative tasks that need to be done such as invoicing, emailing, and client communication. Scheduling your day into time blocks for different activities helps you remain consistent and efficient.

Set clear hours for work time and personal time. This will help you to avoid burnout from overworking and also provide consistency for clients so they know when you’re available.

If you feel as though you can’t handle all the tasks you need to, consider outsourcing administrative work or another reoccuring tasks. This will help you feel as though you can stay on top of what needs to be done without overworking.
