Our Favorite Platforms That Keep Us Organized and Successful

When it comes to being business owners’ best kept secrets, we rely on several different platforms to help us stay organized so we can better support our clients and advance their businesses. Without these platforms it would be impossible to complete the remote work that we excel at. Let’s talk about our ride or die favorites!

1. Basecamp – Basecamp is THAT girl when it comes to project management and it quite literally keeps our team sane and projects on task. This platform allows teams to track the progress of projects, assign tasks, schedule tasks out, keep tabs on clients, and ensure things are getting done. Tasks can be given due dates and marked off when completed, AND even notify certain people when things are complete. One of our favorite organization features is the fact that you can conveniently link important documents, URLs, and folders for each client so they’re easily accessible to your team. It is especially useful for remote teams to work together on projects and complete tasks successfully. It also has mobile apps for teams to stay connected when on the go.

2. Voxer – Voxer is a communication app allowing walkie-talkie style communication between teams. It assists remote teams in successful communication so a team member can create a group chat and send out a message. Anyone who is working can answer the message or play it back later. Users can allow notifications or silence them as needed.

    3. Dubsado – Dubsado is one of our top platforms we recommend to our clients to easily organize, house, and handle inquiries, contracts, proposals, appointments, and communications. Dubsado keeps track of clients and their information, while being a one-stop-shop for all things inquiry-related. You can create automated workflows that assist in client touch-points and elevate client experience with customized templates and forms. Our photography clients LOVE Dubsado— 10/10 recommend.

    4. Planoly – When it comes to planning out Instagram feeds, our personal favorite is Planoly. Their drag and drop grid feature allows us to easily share the grid vision with clients, while having a user-friendly set-up. The automatic posting will quite literally change your life if you’re helping manage more than one Instagram…which if you’re a VA, you know. While we don’t love Planoly for Pinterest, she is THE platform we recommend and love for Instagram.

    5. Tailwind – Okay okay, Tailwind can have her moment too. While we said we don’t love Planoly for Pinterest, it’s because we are OBSESSED with using Tailwind for Pinterest. Tailwind has allowed us to easily take our clients Pinterest analytics from NO views up to thousands of monthly views while recycling incredible content. Tailwind utilizes optimal posting times, easily scheduling, and user-friendly ways to get the most out of Pinterest. When creating and posting pins for clients, this makes our lives a million times easier. *chef’s kiss*

      When it comes to platforms, there are SO many to choose from so we recommend using free trials, doing your own research, and asking around.
